Alisyn Camerota

Alisyn Camerota, journalist, writer, anchor for CNN's morning show "New Day," and Westport, CT resident, has been elected to the board of trustees of Westport Country Playhouse. Camerota is journalist for more than thirty years, reported on news events worldwide and across the country. She received one Emmy Award in her early professional career for reporting on the arrest by Roger Stone and the Edward R.Murrow Award when she broke the news of Hurricane Maria. Johnna G. Torsone, of Stamford was appointed Honorary Trustees for her work on the Board of Trustees from 2007. Anna Czekaj Farber of Westport has been appointed chair of the Board following having served on the Board since 2013. Czekaj Farber succeeds Barbara Streicker from Westport who served as board chair in the previous year. She continues to hold this position ever since.
